Silver Care |
|
Sterling silver is prone to tarnish and scratching if not cared for properly.
To avoid scratching, make sure you store your jewelry without it touching other jewelry. If it is a pendant, make sure that the chain is not touching the pendant, as it will scratch it.
We recommend you use a silver polishing cloth to help keep your jewelry in good condition. To remove fingerprints or light tarnish, use a Sunshine Polishing Cloth ™ or other anti-tarnish brands. Do not use paper towels or clothing, as they have a tendency to scratch as well. Having an anti-tarnish jewelry box, or storing it an airtight plastic bag, is an added help in keeping your silver jewelry shiny. In addition to proper storage of your jewelry, you will want to avoid wearing it when swimming in chlorine, salt water, or mineral hot springs.
As accidents can happen, please call to discuss repairs. |
